SILVER LININGS: What's in the song?

Many asked what's all about silver linings? The picture above shows the literal meaning of what silverlinings is.

Silverlinings deeply means, a HOPE behind a storm. Michael Lang who made the lyrics of the song chose this as the title because it reflects the hope behind the challenges faced and the efforts made by our batch to fight within 4 years in the battlefield of Brokenshire College SOCSKSARGEN Campus.

It is the continuation of our batch song entitled Braver and Stronger sang during our capping and pinning ceremony last 2006.

Melodies were made by Emmanuel Cuna to give soul to the song. Intruments used were piano and violin played by Agustus Emmanuel Tambasacan and Mark Denopol, respectively.

As Bravez et Fort crossed with SILVER LININGS

Finally, the Bravet et Fort™ proved their way to be brave and strong after crossing the SILVER LINIGS at KCC Convention Hall, General Santos City on March 31, 2008. A big number of crowd came to celebrate and witness Bravez et Fort marching along the green carpet.

The graduates were inspired by the songs entitled Braver and Stonger (2006) and Silver Linings (2008) which were both made by the batch itself (lyrics by Michael Lang, melody by Emmanuel Cuna, and instruments by Agustus Emmanuel Tambasacan for piano and Mark Denopol for violin). The inspiration was further amplified by the messages imparted by Michael Lang in behalf of the batch, and by the guest speaker.

It's an unforgetable moment to experience, a memory worth keeping..

Once again, congratulations!
